Picture Framer and QUILTER

Micron pens are your friend.

You can find them at quilt stores, or craft stores and sign with that.

Or you can cross stitch or embroider your name ( I might be ok with initials.)

:)

Here you go Gregory! This is a site by Rob Appell, he is a great quilter and so enthusiastic! I thought you might like it: http://mansewing.com Rob teaches and displays his work almost every year at the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show.

Now for myself, if I can find a VERY simple 8" block to create, I will get started........soon........

Every year the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, http://sistersoutdoorquiltshow.org/ has special exhibits. I presented to the quilt show board the idea of having our finished quilts for a special exhibit - they loved the idea! So ladies and Gregory, keep this in mind for July 2016. This would be a great way to expand the knowledge of framing to thousands of attendees. I have a lot of ideas brewing for our display - I hope you will support this great opportunity.

We are into July and the due date is fast approaching. Talking to some of our wonderful quilters, some extra time as been asked for. So if I could get the remaining 6 people to send in their blocks by the end of July, that would be great.

There are 6 blocks in my possession, and they are gorgeous! I even finished mine last weekend at a quilt retreat. And I already have some ideas of how to make my top.

All I gotta say is QUILTING is HARD! Can we cross stitch next, or maybe a band sampler? Or knit socks?

My frames look way better than my quilt blocks. Shoulda made my quilt blocks outta wood.

LOL, I did tell you you could cross stitch on 8 1/2" fabric!

I am so excited! I should have all the blocks next week, and I am making labels for everyone for their back.
Hopefully by next Friday I will have everyone's packets sent out then you can finish your tops or even quilts by January!

Let's see if we can get some coverage in PFM, Art World News, American Quilting Magazine and others!

You are all going to love everyone's blocks!

thank you to all who participated!
