Is Frame Fest still a go?

Ylva- I can promise you that all of your problems will still be there when you return. It's only a weekend :) And maybe getting away will be good for you in many ways.

Ha Rob, nice try! I went away so many times already in these past few weeks. We are now simply waiting for the closing date on the building and when we know, I will be able to better plan.
The weekends, in this case, are what we need to move, so we don't interrupt business all too much. Especially since both businesses are moving. That plus the fact second kid going into college, we need to be careful.

But will seriously try to be at Frame Fest

With other framers???? Of course not. And this will be SO much more fun :) (and educational) (and TAX DEDUCIBLE :) )

And Rob can show you how to us your credit card purchases to get the airline ticket for practically FREE! Sorry Rob, everyone was thinking it. We ought to have you teach that as a class.

Ha, Rob and I have had many discussions on that already. I play the credit card game already!

The expense of going to FL is not the problem, it's the timing. We are closing on the building next week and then start remodeling and such. We hope to complete the whole move by October 1st and most will be done in the weekends as we cannot interrupt the order flow, and both businesses need to move at the same time.

Am still considering this, but can't make the decision just yet.

I saw your exchange.

I just sent it to you also, by email, as a file attachment. It should be in your inbox.

Best regards
Mike

Pat,
Go to your own profile page. One the menu boards on the left hand side find the one titled "settings".
Click on "edit signature line" and put stuff there.

I just added a jaunty little tag line to my own as a test here. It may oughta work.

Call me if you can't get it.

Incidentally the pdf I sent you is for you to blast to your customers to help get the word out about the Regional show called Frame Fest!

Hope all this helps.

Three Stars over Texas demonstrated and proved that you don't need big fancy booths to have a great show. That show was all "pipe and drape" and tabletop and had as much energy as any show I have been to. There were big tubs of free soft drinks and bottled water at the end of each isle (hint hint), lots of great food (a real Texas BBQ) outstanding education and terrific attendance. The social aspect was wonderful. So looking forward to FrameFest '15.

We are still keeping it going; however, now it's a smaller venue and it's every other year. We still have a great turn out. We have a smaller group that does all the work, so that's the reason for the every other year. I must say that EVERY YEAR, we have a large PRINT & OPEN COMPETITION and usually combine that with an industry 'BIG NAME'! This year we have JAY GOLTZ coming! AND we need more prints!

Cathy, I can't call you on the store number and have been wondering about the ad for the book that I sent you. Did you get it? And how do I pay for it?

Reminder, Both the Hotel special and the VIP Pass options run out on 9/4 at midnight PDT. Rooms will still be available at open market rates and classes will be available on an a la cart basis. Depending on availability classes can be purchased at the event as well, with the exception of the Luncheons, which will be closed on Friday morning 9/18 and wait-listed after that.
