As the Picture Framing Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production team while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our framing process. You will play a crucial leadership role in ensuring weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly goals are met while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and quality. You will be expected to maintain the organization of materials, handle ordering, and serve as a mentor and leader to our four full-time framers.
This position requires hands-on experience in picture framing, including proficiency with the following equipment:

This position requires hands-on experience in picture framing, including proficiency with the following equipment:
- Wizard Mat Cutting Machine
- Pistorus Mitre Saw
- Cassess UnderPinner
- Drymount Press
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 4 full-time framers to meet weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly production goals.
- Order supplies and materials needed for production and ensure adequate inventory levels.
- Oversee day-to-day framing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to deadlines.
- Provide mentorship and training to the team, sharing your expertise in the framing process.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and positive working environment.
- Communicate effectively with the team and leadership to align on production goals and expectations.
- Hands-on framing when necessary to ensure quality and consistency.
- Previous experience in picture framing, including extensive knowledge of framing techniques and machinery.
- Proven leadership or management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Proficiency with framing equipment such as the Wizard Mat Cutter, Pistorus Mitre Saw, Cassess UnderPinner, and dry mount press.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the team.
