The former Sunshine State Chapter of the PPFA reformed in May and would like to become the PPFA Southeast Chapter (PPFA SE). The new Chapter will involve a larger geographic area including parts of Georgia and Alabama as well as Florida. Individual "Mailbox" PPFA members from Georgia and Alabama are encouraged to support this effort by affiliating themselves with PPFA SE. By emailing Sondra and expressing your desire to join our ranks, we can let PPFA National know and bring you on board. By increasing our geographic scope and membership ranks we plan on providing more opportunity for shops to participate and benefit from that participation. Please respond so we can include you in future activities.

EVENT:
PPFA SE, along with corporate partner Larson-Juhl, is planning an Open House event for October 19 at Larson-Juhl’s Lakeland facility, 2560 Old Combee Road Lakeland, FL 33805. Board members are working on securing accommodations for October 18 for those wanting to arrive early and participate in an informal “Meet and Greet.” Details pending.

PPFA ACTIVITIES:
Print and Open Competition judging will take place during the Open House. Print pieces are still available on a limited basis – if interested, e-mail Sondra.

Larson-Juhl will hold an Open House featuring a tabletop vendor show with affiliate vendors participating. Bainbridge and Tru-Vue are scheduled, and others are contingent. Plans are still in the making for door prizes and hospitality.
CLASSES/EDUCATION:
Meadowbrook Insurance will offer classes about business insurance needs and analysis of insurance policies. Bring your current policy and Meadowbrook representative Dan Tharp will offer a review. Other educational opportunities are being explored for the Open House.

Constant Contact will hold classes on using social media for marketing; and American Express will discuss Small Business Saturday and other events.
We do hope you'll join us at this event and look forward to meeting you!
