That is very inspirational Mikki.
I can see you in the reflection of the glass taking the photo. Perhaps the customer did not want anti reflective glass.

The spoons appear to be removable, unsecured in their slots. Is that correct? If so, how does the frame open/reclose?

Piano hinge and magnet closure. She wants to be able to get them out to keep them polished.
